This productive heirloom variety yields abundant, dark green, ribbed fruits, typically growing 16 to 18 inches long. They are exceptionally mild, sweet, burpless, and crisp with few seeds, making them excellent for fresh eating or pickling. As a parthenocarpic type, it reliably produces fruit on vigorous vines even without pollination and tolerates hot conditions. Trellising is recommended to encourage straighter fruit development.
