This softneck garlic is renowned for its large, 3-inch bulbs, yielding 8-20 cloves that may be white and purple-blotched. Initially mild, its flavor develops into a robust, lingering, and subtly spicy profile during storage, making it excellent for all-purpose culinary uses. Boasting tight tunics, it stores exceptionally well for 9-10 months. Fall-planted bulbs mature in about 240 days, ready for late spring or early summer harvest, while spring plantings yield in approximately 90 days.
