This vigorous snap pea produces a continuous harvest of deliciously sweet pods for several weeks. Its 5-8 foot vines are distinctive for their enlarged, edible tendrils, which promote better airflow, reduce disease risk, and aid in trellising. These tendrils, along with the bicolor flowers, are also excellent fresh additions to salads or as a garnish. Plants exhibit good cold hardiness, and pod flavor peaks just before the internal strings redden.
