This early-maturing snap pea variety produces abundant yields of very sweet, crispy 3-inch pods that are excellent for eating raw, steamed, or stir-fried. The compact plants typically grow 1-2 feet tall and exhibit resistance to powdery mildew. Suitable for direct-sowing in early spring or midsummer for a fall harvest, it thrives in small spaces, containers, or square-foot gardens. In warmer climates (Zones 9-11), it also performs well as a winter crop.
