Soldier beetle larvae consume pest eggs and can damage harmful larvae/soft-bodied insects. They can also help pollinate certain species such as zinnia, marigold, and daisies.

Identification

Adults come in a variety of colors including yellow, black, red, brown bodies, with dark spot on wings. Larvae are worm-like, bristled and dark colored.
