New Plant Alert: Introducing the Avocato
Avocatos are having a viral moment in online gardening circles. They are fun to grow, nutritious, and oh-so cute! If you haven't tried growing an avocato before, give it a go this growing season!
Avocatos prefer warm, sunny areas although if you live in a cooler climate they don't mind being cozied up indoors beside a sunny window.
Feature Launch: Light Sensor
Whether you're new to starting seeds indoors or you're a seasoned indoor grower, you might wonder if your grow lights are giving off enough light for your plants to thrive. Now you can check with the new Light Sensor feature in Planter!
Follow the on-screen instructions to test how much light your grow lights give off.*
*Works on devices with built-in light sensors. Lux measurements can be used to get a rough idea of grow light intensity.
