As the 2024 gardening season winds down now is the perfect time to clean up, take stock, and re-energize.

Whether you've already put your garden to bed, you're still harvesting the last hardy plants, or you're lucky enough to be planting a fresh batch of plants, be sure to take some time to get organized for the season ahead!

What's Growing On?

Plant and Feature Request List Clean Up

We've undertaken a major effort to 'weed' the Plant and Feature Request List.

This clean up will allow us to focus and complete more of your priority requests than ever before as we head into 2025.

There are a few things you can do to help us keep the request list organized:

• Use the search feature to check if a request has already been submitted. If it has, upvote the existing request instead of adding a duplicate request.

• Add requests individually rather than grouping several different requests into one.

• Use the Report a Bug option in Planter settings to raise questions and issues to Planter support, instead of adding them as requests.

Social Media Spotlight

Be on the lookout for our upcoming November podcast featuring a special guest - our very own herb guru Samantha Togstad.

Samantha will teach us some of her favorite herbal preparations and share her tips and tricks for putting your herb garden to bed at the end of the season.

Growing Guide Highlights

Garlic is a crop that can be a bit tricky if you’ve never grown it before. In general, if you’re growing in a cold climate you’ll want to get your garlic in the ground in fall for a harvest the following season.
