Iris sibirica are 2-4 foot (.6-1.02m) tall, blooming slightly after the bearded iris in blue, violet, and purple. Their tall, slender foliage resembles ornamental grasses through the summer. They like moisture and grow well near streams or ponds, growing in clumps spread by rhizomes.
