About Mâche (Mache, Lamb's Lettuce, Corn Salad)

Also called lamb’s lettuce, mâche can be sown in early spring or late fall, and takes 40-70 days to mature. It requires mild temperatures of at least 50 degrees Farenheit to germinate, but prefers conditions that aren’t too hot (< 70 degrees Fahrenheit). Mâche is not too picky with soil quality! It has a nutty taste, similar to butterhead lettuce.
