Early-maturing, beautifully patterned Indigenous pole bean, great for northern gardens. Delicious, creamy flavor.

About Iroquois Skunk

(Phaseolus vulgaris). Pole bean. An early-maturing, beautifully patterned Indigenous variety excellent for growing in northern gardens. This prolific variety has been tended and passed down by the Haudenosaunee (Iroquois) of the Great Lakes for centuries. Impossibly long vines reach over 6 feet and bear an abundance of highly decorative beans that cook up quickly and have a delicious, creamy flavor. It can be used as a dry bean or harvested immature for snap beans. Dry beans are splashed with black and white in endless patterns.
