About Deerfield
This cultivar, collected in Vietnam in 1994, has a balmy, rich flavor when cooked, moderate heat used raw. Clove wrappers are tan with slight blue tint. Strong producer of highly prized scapes. Averages 8-10 cloves per bulb. Mid-season, rocambole hardneck, but not braidable.
