Russian Red
Perfect garlic flavor with long lasting heat.
About Russian Red
This full flavored garlic was brought to the Pacific Northwest by Russian immigrants in the early 1900s. Rocambole garlics have purple bulb wrappers and easy-to-peel brownish clove covers. Coming from Russia this garlic is sure to grow in gardens with the coldest of winters, and will survive damp winter soils as well. Averages 6-7 cloves per bulb. Early to mid-season, rocambole hardneck.
