Thai Fire

An early-harvesting hardneck Turban with striking purple-streaked bulbs, offering a bold, spicy raw flavor that mellows sweet when cooked.

About Thai Fire

This hardneck Turban variety produces bulbs with covers ranging from nut brown to royal purple, often featuring striking purple streaks, and typically yields 4-7 cloves. Its complex flavor is bold and pungent raw, delivering a spicy kick that increases with each bite, yet it sweetens and mellows beautifully when cooked. As one of the earliest garlics to mature, it harvests in about 90 days from spring planting or approximately 240 days from fall planting. However, it has a shorter storage life of 4-6 months and tends to sprout quickly after harvest, making it ideal for immediate culinary use, especially in Thai cuisine.
