About Cluster Ridge Luffa

(Luffa acutangula). The orb-shaped fruit of Cluster Ridge gourd is delicious when picked young for curries, stir fries, or soup. They are used much like zucchini. Cluster Ridge gourds are very easy to grow and have good disease resistance. These were introduced to us by our friend Solomon Amuzu, of Call to Nature Permaculture in Ghana. Cluster Ridge gourds do best when trellised. Perennial in frost-free zones; grown as an annual elsewhere
