About Little Caesar

The right stuff for caesar salad is this blend of tasty green outer leaves and blanched golden inner leaves. Tall heads have sweet, crisp leaves and is perfect for small gardens and easy to grow. Its about 2/3 the size of Parris Island Cos and is not troubled by tip-burn. One head is just right for two. Grows best in cool weather. Plant early in spring and replant as a fall crop. Protect from heat with shade cloth. Likes fertile soil, ample water. Best when picked minutes before your meal. Space lettuce plants 8" apart.
