(Raphanus sativus). A wonderful Chinese delicacy! It's a daikon type radish with the most glossy, smooth leaves and white, cylindrical roots that reach 6 to 8 inches. It is very similar to White Icicle radish and ideal for fresh eating. We are enamored with this no-waste radish. Unlike other radish varieties, the leaves are free of spiny hairs and are tender, glazed, and sweet like spinach. Try this versatile variety from China in a stir fry, soup, salad, or whatever you can dream up! Sow in summer for fall harvest.
