About Uluru Ochre

(Solanum lycopersicum). An utterly unique earthy-toned tomato, burnt orange on the outside with blushed green shoulders and seed mass with suggestions of caramel and chocolate. Beauty aside, the beefy fruit has a mouth-watering flavor like nothing else; rich and sweet with fresh subtle apricot tones followed by a deep underlying smoky musk. Delicious! This terrific tom was part of the ‘Dwarf Tomato Project,’ a consortium of seed savers who wanted to provide gardeners short on space the opportunity to grow a diverse range of vivid, vibrant, and delicious heirloom tomatoes on smaller, compact plants.
